The Apaltagua Estate was founded in the late 1990s by American businessman Edward Tutunjian. During a visit to Chile on a family vacation, he fell in love with the country and its people and was captivated by its wines. Soon after his holiday visit, he purchased his first vineyard in Curicó Valley, and the family has been steadily increasing their holdings.

The family's vineyard and winery are found in the gentle foothills of the Andes Mountains in the prestigious Apalta district of the Colchagua Valley. Here, the high-altitude, granite-based soil, along with warm days and cool nights, provides the ideal conditions for growing high-quality grapes.

The Chardonnay Reserva is sourced from selected vineyards in the Casablanca Balley. The strong Pacific maritime influence here produces a cool valley climate, ideal for white wine production.

In your glass, the pale yellow color opens to notes of melon, peach, and tropical fruits on the nose, leading to a fresh, silky palate of melon, orange oil, and a touch of pear. This unoaked Chardonnay is clean and fresh with just the right balance of brightness and fruit. Pair this with pork, chicken, seafood and also enjoy it as an aperitif.
