Domaine Menard Gaborit 1ere Escale Muscadet 20

In the vineyard, winery, cellar, and even the business office, Domaine Ménard-Gaborit is entirely a family affair. The Ménard family operates and manages every detail of the estate with a keen eye for quality while respecting the property's long wine-growing tradition. Napoleonic land documents trace the beginning of the estate to 1734, and the Ménard family has been at the helm for six generations.

Today, Philippe and Thierry Ménard are the 5th generation vignerons to work their family vineyards and cellar. In 2008 they received lutte raisonnée certification from the French Minister of Agriculture and began working towards organic certification. Their hard work continued to pay off when they were officially certified organic in 2020.

After finishing a degree in viticulture and enology, Philippe's son François joined the team. François brings the newest in cutting-edge winemaking techniques and technology to the estate -- a perfect addition to the family's rich history and tradition.

In your glass, you'll find all of the classic elements of Muscadet -- lemon, lime, green apple, pear, floral notes, and of course, gorgeous salinity. The 1ere Escale Muscadet is beautifully balanced with just the right amount of bright, zippy acidity to keep the wine squeaky clean, and fresh. The lengthy finish has plenty of fruit to enhance the brightness, making this a great porch sipper for the summer months.
