Didier Chapron wines have been AWM customer and staff favorites for years. The Chapron family's base of operation is Château Thomas-Laurent, located directly across the river from Château Mouton Rothschild. The Chapron estate shares the incredible climate and soil with its esteemed neighbors across the river in Pauillac; however, without the hefty price tag often associated with Left Bank wines.

The Chapron family has owned and managed the estate for four generations, and their vineyard holdings span over 40 hectares on the Right Bank. Didier has shifted the family vineyards to natural agricultural methods (lutte raisonnée), and his approach blends an enhanced regard for the environment with the long-standing viticulture traditions in Bordeaux.

Chapron's dedication to quality and detail hasn't gone unnoticed. He's garnered numerous accolades at prestigious competitions, including events in Paris, Bordeaux, Vins d'Aquitaine, Mâcon, and Vinalies International. The 2019 Château Chevalier des Brards won a gold medal at the last Concours International de Lyon.

The 2019 Château Chevalier des Brards is a classic blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc.
