Our never-ending search for the highest-quality and most affordable Pinot Noir has yielded another exceptional gem. The collective smile on the face of the staff after tasting proclaimed this one a clear winner!

I'm finding an increasing number of these hidden gems coming from Chile. The country's cooler regions are especially well suited for Pinot Noir, and I'm happy to report, more of it is beginning to make it into the US market.

This deliciously vibrant Pinot Nor has a lovely touch of Burgundian influence thanks to French winemaker Guillaume Létang. He sources the fruit from the cold, rocky vineyards of Chile's Central Valley from vines planted on ancient glacial riverbeds. The clarity and purity of the fruit are remarkable, especially for the modest price tag!

In the glass, it's all about velvety red fruits, featuring notes of wild raspberry and strawberry mingling on the juicy palate. There's just a whisper of oak influence that ties it all together.

Enjoy this with roasted or grilled chicken, duck, game birds, white meats, and steak fish.

Seriously folks, I'm not sure it's possible these days to find another Pinot Noir that drinks this well at such a low price -- of course, I'll still keep hunting!
