Spoken West is a new project from Jamey Whetstone. Jamey is always well regarded on the West Coast for producing some great high-end wines; however, he's also a wizard at making super-affordable wines of superior quality -- this super-smooth Cab is a perfect example.

 

Deep ruby in color, this 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon features classic, concentrated aromas of cherry, black currant, dark chocolate, and roasted oak with background notes of cinnamon, licorice and cigar box. Rich and concentrated flavors of black cherry and blackberry with a touch cassis lead to a warm, toasty vanilla finish with fine, velvety French oak tannins.
